    Bar oils

Several old timers told me that they would mix 5% paraffin with chain oil for winter when zero or sub zero to help thin out and wash bar/chain better. I have met quite a few who have done this over my 35 years in the chainsaw industry.
  10. I was explaining to a chainsaw PPE manufacturer that we have many tests for trousers one being the lunge test. Now its some time ago anyone know how to find it ? I'd give them the link

Johno is a top bloke, i've known for years, best equipment, great yard etc, I have done business in the CI for 30 years and always find something new, its on average 5 degrees warmer all year than the south east. Great social scene if you want it, and to suit all budgets, if you fish you will be in heaven, and on a bike you can explore more. Bet you start saying eh after sentences within 2 months eh ! Enjoy and give Johno my regards
  14. Oregon chain oil is 150 weight industry standard, pop into a dealer and ask to see some and see for yourself, to my knowledge this Sexy chain oil label was never supplied by Oregon as the reverse label still has the Oregon details regardless of own label on front of can.

  22. Just got back from set up with Honey Brothers at the Arb show, great setting, more stands, lots to see and a World class Arboretum next door, so for all who were thinking maybe and should i go, this year you have all the right reasons Great setting, bigger show, and we have the weather on our side as well. Come and say hi in Honey Bros stand.
  23. There have been several threads regarding Oregon Fiordland trousers and different opinions. Lets make it clear for all The grey Fiordland trousers were superseded by the new Black Fiordland 2 trousers in type A only. These are an evolution with many features found on more expensive c/saw trousers, they are light, comfortable and very hard wearing, Rob D wears these and loves them. They have lots of zipped pockets and vents in the back of the thighs. So for those reading old reviews on 3 year old Oregon grey Fiordlands seek to see a pair of the new Black Fiordland 2's and see the difference. Les:biggrin:
  24. see [ame] [/ame] impressive power Les
  25. Last year on business in NI I came across Zomax saws in 5 different Husky dealers all branded Zomax and in white and black colours, all 5 dealers said that the 3 models 42, 52 and 65cc saws had never had a problem and that their customers loved them. The price reflected that they were homeowner/farmer saws but they did the job. And they have magnesium crankcases with two bearings, walbro carbs and a good Oregon bar and chain. I have never seen Zomax in the south of the UK.
