  2. Perhaps you are looking for a " Tiny Tach " as I recall. It's a Tachometer when engine is running and an hour meter when stopped. about £30 on ebay.
  3. Judging by it's performance I would say that's quite slow. I have one for sale in classified it will cut 12 inches in one cut and is much quicker.
  4. I think I may have the answer. I was having similar problems which turned out to be the case hardening on the camshaft going soft! I took it ( the engine) to local Kohler mechanic and the diagnosis was made. the up shot is that I needed a new camshaft and followers. these were changed and the engine was like new. Kohler have had problems with their camshafts but it has not been wildly broadcasted .
  5. I'm not dead certain but are you using the right grade of oil? You could try looking it up at http://ew5.earlweb.com/search.php?site=6

  15. I had a Little David for 14 Years! Superb machine! Then sold it for a grand. Much easier to use than front mounted. I now run a baby Rayco, and a Vermeer 252 ( I've had this 10 years ) If you look after them they look after you.
  16. It would seem to me that if the job sheet has been ticked, the brakes are good to go to the next service interval. As they were not, the job was not done properly. However the long and short of it is that it was their mistake and they should make amends. Trading standards and or a call to Land rover might be in order. You paid them to service and report. They took your money now take theirs!!!
  17. I got bit by this tree! Big time, it put me off work for 3 weeks. I was wearing a full protective suit, gloves and mask. All I would say to everyone be VERY VERY careful. I believe there are some let in Cambridge possibly the university garden, I have not seen them but was told they are there. I don't think there are any more left in Oxford They got buried good and deep!!! Again I say, stay well clear and charge an awful lot of money to deal with them.
