  4. Well of cause, there are many, many types of tree worker, ANYONE who WORKS with trees is a "tree worker". Thats why the thread question so stange:confused1:
  5. OK so you are saying a "good climber" is NOT a tree worker. In that case what the hell is he?????????????
  6. I think you have summed the situation up most succinctly Tony!!!! Where I would take issue is where you say that the initial thread question was reasonable, in fact it makes no sense The question is "Does being a good climber mean he's a good tree worker?" Well is a climber a tree worker?? if he isn't then what is he?? So if a climber is a tree worker, and he is a "good climber" then surely by definition he MUST be a "good tree worker"!!!!
  7. Just a thought, if we all did this how would sites be funded?? I for one prefer to see adds rather than paying a subscription.

  14. When the boss quotes the work he know what he "hopes" too be making. When the employee takes the job he "knows" what he will be making. They both made their decision. Should the boss tell the customer it will cost more if its warm??
  15. If he's grafting too then either shut up and get on or quit!! I have no time for those who say do as I say, not do as I do. But I have every respect for those who lead by example!!
  16. Does that mean its a "coffe table"?? Very nice by the way!!
  17. All this talk of working in the heat got me thinking, I love the summer, I am aways happier wet from sweat than wet from rain Some, such as Dean, seem to find it a real health problem, not something I have ever found, just wondered how common this health issue is .
  18. I've never been "taught", I just treat people as I would like to be treated.
  19. So this should also read " so long as they ask for more".
