  5. I've never asked them for a quote, but a mate of mine asked me who did my lolering a few years back, as he was with them and wanted the discount.

  13. This is a forum, we all only give our OPINION. Personally, I would not allow another less well equipped firm to build their client base and reputation using my kit. If a firm wishes to sub the whole job to me fine.

  15. He wasn't talking to YOU!! WE agree!!!
  16. A builder gets the stuff delivered to site by a suppler not ANOTHER building firm. I don't know of any builders that use OTHER builder to move their crap. Peter is offering two quite specialist things, a top quality climber and the removal of timber, not waste. I understand he only works for genuine tree firms and does not run his own firm offering full tree work services. I could be wrong.
  17. They cannot "refuse your application" as your not applying, your notifying. Yes you did!! See above
  18. No he's not. In a conservation area the council have the right to put a TPO on any tree, you must inform them of your intentions and if they don't want you to do it they MUST put a TPO on.
  19. Looks like that made a crap job into an early finish!! Its easy to get caught out by the the neighbor who has never cut their side!! The great thing about having the right kit is you can cope with the underestimated jobs without breaking your back.
