  1. Why did they buy a bungalow with large TPO'd trees in the garden, if they don't like the trees????
  2. This interests me greatly, do you have system for pricing????
  3. Amanda Hugandkiss. I heard of two Scottish gay guys, Ben Doon and Phil Macrevis.
  4. The idea that some nationality has a monopoly on good workers is pretty flawed, like most things in life you will find good and not so good where ever you chose to look.
  5. Thats not really required. IMO, the simplest way would be for all those wanting to borrow the books should supply Tony with the required details, these will generally be required for posting the book anyway, so not really an issue.
  6. Tony, please, I think your taking me all wrong. Its not a big deal, but it can be the thin edge of a very big wedge. We have rules on here for very good reasons, if we don't stop naming and shaming on every occasion people will think its OK. I think its great that you are so passionate about all things tree and want to share that by very generously lending out your library, I don't want to be the misery guts who gets in the way of your excellent book club, I just want to try and keep AT the excellent forum it currently is.
  7. I'm not sure deposits would help, some may feel they are more entitled to keep the book as they have paid something. IMO, the main thing thats needed is the borrowers proper name and contact details, so they can be chased up with ease. I'm sorry that you took offence at my post Tony, but AT is not about naming and shaming, we really don't want disputes played out in here, do we?????
  8. I would hope all the decisions you make regarding work related safety are based on reasoned "argument". Do we not all base any decisions and opinions on reasoned argument, often its just an internal debate where we weigh up the pro's and con's of different products or courses of action. You have convinced yourself that because you take great care were your feet are when cutting, that you don't need saw protection in your boots. I guess I could have used the word "reason" instead of "argument", but what I was meaning was that you have used what you see as the facts of the situation to decide you don't need saw boots, but I'm saying that the premiss on which your reasoning/argument is built is incorrect.
  9. In all honesty this is probably what I would have done or just got them on the floor that day, or at least the tops out of them all.
  10. Stevie's makeup always looks good, he could do it
  11. This is an incredibly flawed argument, PPE is not used to enable careless cutting, its there for when things go wrong. I would hope that everyone "knows where their feet are" before cutting. PPE is for when things go wrong, trips, falls, kick back's, etc, etc. Your argument is like saying "never wear my seatbelt, because I don't crash into things".
  12. Please PM Tony any detail, putting names and addresses of members on the forum without their consent, is not a good idea. Also the "thumbs down" is a little harsh Tony, you have no idea why he's not returned the book or not been on here for a while, there could be any number of perfectly valid reasons for this.
  13. :confused1:But then its no longer a "no spill" spout.
  14. If anyone who choses not to face the music is seen as innocent, that will become the option of choice for all. Lance is a guy of great tenacity and endurance, its seems very strange that he choses to quit in this situation. Most of us look at the situation of other and think how we would react, I would fight a false allegation as long as it took too clear my name.
  15. I don't think football is comparable to athletes competing in international sport.
  16. Its possible to empty your bladder and then have it refilled with clean urine, using a catheter.
  17. Do you think we have a test for all performance enhancing substances Lee?? Just because some one is smart enough to cheat the system, it does not mean they are not a cheat. What possible reason do the powers that be have in framing and innocent man???
  18. How did it get into the tank if its to big to go through the filler hole?? What is it?? As for cleaning out the tank, I drained tank on my mog and then used towels tied to the end of a drain rod to mop out and clean the inside of the tank. I removed the filler cap and fuel sender unit and worked through both holes.
  19. Sad but true. Even back in the very early days of the tour they were taking opium and caffein, drugs have been part of the tour from the very beginning. We want sports people who win using genetics and hard work, surly we don't want the winners to be those who are prepared to take the most gear, which damages their health and shortens their lives.
  20. Did I mention ELI??? Some one claims against you or your company its down to you to have the relevant insurance to cover any claim, be that EL,PL,PI or motor insurance. If you are a multimillionaire you require no insurance, as you are able to cover any claim personally.
  21. You would be liable and they could sue you for all you have and more, thats why most of us have PLI.
  22. Why are they always asking for UK guys then
  23. The only way to deter the use of gear or any other form of cheating is to strip titles from those caught. We have to try and stop youngsters from going down this road, testing is getting better and better, so sport is getting cleaner, which has to be good. This years tour was probably one of the cleanest ever, as a result times for stages previously run were well down on previous years. All sportsmen know that if they cheat and are caught they will lose their titles, IMO there should be no "ifs" or "but's".
