  1. :confused1:Can something be "rather irritating beyond measure"???:confused1: Surely its either "rather irritating" or it "irritating beyond measure", but not both
  2. Transportation and the possibility steel, to name just 2 of the reasons.

Yes but its a 3.5tonne pickup, so its .5tonne under weight
  5. Jon, for about the fifth time, I HAD NO CHIPS, I had fish, peas and egg, I don't eat potatoes.
  6. Here we go, so there are reasons for it, so its not as bonkers as I thought
  7. You think people with OCD feel the need to post the fact they have sent a PM????
  8. Maybe, but often its not in that sort of thread.
  9. As there is a pedant thread running regarding spelling and grammar, here is my pet hate, WHY oh WHY do people post "PM sent" in a thread?????? If you wish to PM someone just do it!!! Why do people feel the need to tell everyone they have sent the thread poster a PM????????:confused1:
  10. Just a reasonable understanding of physics, I would say
  11. No, the council do not "give consent" for tree works in the CA and you are not making an "application", you are giving "notice" of the intended works. If the councils are not happy with your intended works their only option is to put a TPO on the tree, meaning you must then make an application for the works. Basically CA status means the council has the right to TPO any tree and you need to give them that option before carrying out any works.
  12. If its milled timber, it will dry way to fast causing warping and splits. Fire wood is fine.
  13. Theres your problem right there I have experienced none of the problems you list. P.S. Is "bung" an engineering term???
  14. They must have fitted new tyres to the bus and maybe pumped them up a bit too much.
  15. Unfortunately not I started out with nothing and still have most of it left
  16. Utter rubbish, IME!!!!!! I had far more problems with the old screw caps, and needing a tool at hand in order to simply fuel a saw was ridiculous, the new caps have addressed and solved that very problem and they do it very, very well
  17. I think it has to be, I've had and have a lot of saws with them fitted and not had one single issue with any of them, I really do think they are great and an huge improvement, I have a 66 without the caps and every one thinks its a real pain needing a screw driver to open the caps:thumbdown:
  18. They are excellent!! Never had any problems with them. They also double as an IQ test, every groundie I've had that had trouble with them was pretty hopeless at most things, the ones who could operate them with ease where also good at the job:thumbup:
