  1. Indeed, so why not go to the top of the ladder and knock another 2ft off??
  2. Got to agree with Matty, never liked the saw, in fact when mine was stollen I wasn't really that bothered, should have sold it long ago really.
  3. Its pretty dumb, he could cut it 2ft lower from the ground, so why do it?? TBH, it looks photoshopped to me.
  4. That skidder is HUGE!!! In the third picture above, the operator looks tiny!!!
  5. I had 2 new ms200t's that my dealer fitted new 020 carbs to from new.
  6. Totally agree with the above I don't know why some work in a service industry when they clearly have such disdain for the general public, who after all are paying our wages???
  7. Also very common in large gardens, people burn leaves and other garden rubbish. They don't relies the damage they are doing, it's often a long time before the heat damaged bark falls away.
  8. Apparently he punched a producer, so I doubt he will be back. Threads like this are very interesting, you get to see peoples real character, some pretty unpleasant comments.
  9. No I think its a manufacturing fault, some crack, some don't. I used a mark 1 for about 2 years without issue, I exchanged it for a mark 2 at the APF show, the mark 2 cracked within the first month of use. I used it in exactly the same way as I had used the mark 1.
  10. Its not imminently dangerous or dead, so a normal application will be needed.
  11. I wonder how the feller would stand if some one inexperienced was injured dealing with them?? I think they could be in very hot water. You can be liable for some one falling off a timber stack, which is far less dangerous than this, imo
  12. Use mine for everything, not used anything else for a couple of years, mine cracked months ago, but never got any worse, I'll probably change it at one of the shows, I don't want to be without it.
  13. Good advice!! Who ever left those trees like that needs shooting!! I often just fell trees for people, but I always insist on leaving them in a safe manner, trunk on the ground and crown broken down.
  14. The legislation is not sensible, but unfortunately it has the force of the law behind it, so if one of your neighbours wants to make trouble for you, you really don't have a leg to stand on. Sad, but true.
  15. If its on a restricted O licence yes.
  16. Looks to me like it was Ivy covered, which has affected the bark.
