  1. Business is business, makes no difference who is signing the cheque.
  2. I have no interest in having pictures on my oil tubs, but the fact that some feel so strongly about it that rather than simply buying from a different supplier they go to great lengths to put a stop to it, is sad in the extreme:thumbdown: Why don't they put their efforts into addressing some of the REAL problems that cause REAL suffering.
  3. Cutting smaller increases volume.
  4. Ain't that the truth, utterly pathetic!!!
  5. Thats a very generous offer, good for you Big J
  6. Will the chip box not make loading the trailer difficult and limit the weight you can lift onto the trailer?? If it were me I'd be moving the crane to the rear.
  7. Stay out of the black and in the red, nothing in this game for two in a bed.
  8. How do you know??? Never seen it myself:sneaky2:
  9. That only because she has not worked out how to post pictures
  10. I would have no interest in knowing the ins and outs of the disagreement, from either side. I would simply tell the client that I would need to speak to the neighbour before putting anything back over the fence. I've done loads of jobs like this over the years, generally if you just go and speak with the neighbour, explaining you are simply wishing to carry out the required work with the least inconvenience for all concerned, they see sense and let you get on.
  11. Yes. The Company is required to keep accurate records of who was driving the vehicle on any given day. For all intents and purposes, the Court will expect an on going log to be maintained detailing the identity of all users of the vehicle at any specific time. Failure to be able to supply this information will probably result in conviction. It is not a defence to say that it is a "pool" car and that anybody could have been driving it at the time, unless you have an exceptional case. 12. No you can't, they are no longer taking orders.
  13. This is also my understanding.
  14. 6 to 8 weeks!!!?? I don't think you need to worry if they are taking so long, you should simply point out they are far to late. Should take 14 day, can be longer if its not easy for them to establish who is the owner, but no magistrate in the country would consider 6 to 8 weeks a reasonable timescale, IMHO.
  15. Not really, points go on the driver licence, not the owners.
  16. I did not say they made the rules, I simply pointed out that not only do the EA do little dredging, they also prevent private agents from dredging.
  17. I think you need to re-read my post, see below.
