  2. Sorry i missed it mate.Just a glance of you then..sorry to burst your bubble, i was on tv back in 2004 on ther regional news BBC south doing a speech..and i got interveiwed:001_tt2: I will also be avaiable for autographs and dvds at the arb shows for my 15mins of fame.

How sad am i..sat at my window over the weekend with a cuppa and binos watching these guys take down these two beeches with Meripilus.I had noticed there was something wrong with them last year they were flushing late and had a lot of dieback.Thought there were no crown signs with Meripilus so i went over to check they were not cowboys.....saw the fungi for my self. Still not back at work so it was nice to see some tree work. All rigged down,day center and road below..dont know the company.
  4. Best thing is to get a good fungi book and start from there.Some books have dicotomus keys in..just get into a good book and go out look at fungi,smell,touch open them up and learn like that. Cerne.

Does almost look like multiple lightning strikes dosnt it..i know it isnt thou.Did you use a hammer and do a sound test on the bark and decay?Think it needs quantifying as to the decay extent thou, whats the target area lke?Looks like a road below.I would be worried about internal cracks forming in the future with all that tension in the limbs. Intresting.

    Just a few photos i found of my self when i was on operations in Kuwait.Wanted to put some up, to connect with our brave service pepole out in Afghanstan and the job they have to do..we respect you guys.There always in my thoughts.

  11. Just a few from yesterday in Suffolk.Have not made a definite id of the fungi yet.
  12. Went to the docs again today.He says its getting better but slowly.He has got me on more antinflamateries and i got that vulcan strap on which is great.Going back in 2 weeks. He recomended not having a second injection as theres a risk the tendon could snap. Thanks for all the advice lads.
  13. Be carefull when using fat balls and bird feeders with nets.Our little feathered freinds feet get caught in the nets and can rip their feet out, they get caught.I tend to put fat balls in plastic bird feeders.

  16. Hey..my tree then if its this month..im a Birch. Birch trees are classed as the lady of the woods or the queen of the trees by the druids.Witches besoms were/are made of birch twigs to sweep away negative influences from homes. fast growing trees or poineer species will colanise any ground very quickly and spread fast. The bark can be stripped and made into baskets amd water holders. Horticultrarlist scientests believe the fungus Piptoporus betulinus is alreday dormant within the tree from a seedling and under the right condtions fruits.
  17. I reckon from repeative strain from gripping rope and raking hard..over and over again. Vulcan strap ordered...that be my birthday pressie then for the 4th of Jan.

  20. Hi Pepole, happy new year to all btw. Anyone had tennis elbow in their career and how did you deal with it? I have been off work with it for a month now.Had painkillers off the doctor,rested it,strapped it up and had a cortzone injection 3 weeks ago and due another next thursday and its still stopping me from working:thumbdown:, its still causing me imense pain and lack of full movement. Any experinces with the same condtion and how you got over it? Cerne.
