Nice photoes Sean, what camera are you using?
  7. What the hell have they done to that to to make it go like that?
  8. Cool pics, nice job.
  9. Ive got no kids and my parents would probably expect it but I believe in standing up for what you believe in and if the police / government wont put the scum off by heavy sentences ill do things my way. My house - no one comes in unless I say, well apart from a police warrant.
  10. That's ridiculous, it makes me so mad hearing things like this, If I woke up to find a intruder in my property id be phoning a ambulance for him and the police for me and id happily go to prison for it!
  11. Bad news about your Kit. There was a guy at the Saltex the other year selling all sorts of things to secure containers, I can find his number if you want it. I hate thives and if i had of caught the scum that nicked my climbing kit he would have had the silkey across his chops, and I mean that!!
  12. You could have the whels re chromed.
  13. I went straight through a pair of the old husky knee pocked type c trowsers in to my leg 11 years ago, the material didnt pull out at all!
  14. Ive got one, it cost me little, its been referbed for the costs of parts and recently had the bearings replaced again and the breaks done. Its not the best chipper in the world and If I was buying a new one I wouldn't be buying a TW. But it was cheep, it set me up in buisness its all paid for and it makes me money and I haven't got to pay finance on it every month!
  15. If you did buy that chipper and needed doing to it the cost would mount up. I referbed mine and the parts cost £2000 that was 2 years ago and just spent £650 on it ant the hse bar aint cheep.
  16. Have you got the money cash? what about putting it down as a deposit on the TW125PH. Orange Plant have a June 09 model for £7,595
  17. dodger, have you got any news links to that claim?
  18. Deans thread. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/maintenance-help/10616-timberwolf-fins-flywheel-bearings.html
  19. The fins are on the back of the fly wheel, the bit that you bolt the blades on to. They make the draft to sling the chip out. They can be damaged by the bearings going, blade faliure and are not cheep to replace. Dean Lofthouse has a verry good thread that was on here not so long age detailing replacing the bearings on a similar machine, with pics! It says it has been referbed, find out if he did it or paid for it to be done because if not shimmed properly the bearings will were fast. If he referbed it he should have recites look as these - what was done? The older chippers had 0ne bar oing around the top of the hopper then in oct 2002 i think A retro fit bar had to be installed to go around the table of the hopper so incase of trips etc the rollers! I googled the guys land line number to see if there was any advertising, nothing came up.
  20. Find out when the bearings were last replaced, take the shute off and look feel if there is any damage to the fins! Look at the condition of, the engine - smoke ect, Axel, Tyres, Hitch, It doesnt look to have a HSE bar fitted so factor in the added cost of that if you want one fitted! If you go and look at it, ring timberwolf up and give them the serial number they will have a record of owners if it has been up dated?
  21. When I was at college they had one in the shed, just wonderd how they worked and if any one had used one.
  22. Has any one got any old pics or info on how this contraption worked?
  23. Must end up costing a fortune!
  24. [ We have to refresh every three years in my job How come, what do you do?
  25. It was 12 years ago I did mine, could ld have sworn it was 2. Must of been because there was a gap between doing the two when I was at college doing NCH and to be honest that was the only time ive done the arial rescue, are there refresher courses just for the rescue?
