  1. Hi Guss, He is a young guy is he? I'm the youngest in the club by about 40 years! Not many younger people doing it. I'll look that site up thanks.

  3. I'm a bit behind as young bird racing started about 3 weeks ago so might just get these trained up and start them as yearlings next year. I have just let them go for there first training toss from 2 miles and they are all back! I have some pics on my computer but I'll start to take them if you want to look. Steve next year if you want to keep four or so in a hutch to play with, with your boys I'll send you some babies up.

  9. Hi David, Guy did spend time talking about it but ill have to listen to my voice recorder to remember what he said as I had just finished a set of 4 night shifts and went straight there.
  10. I attended the event yesterday at Easthampstead Park and really enjoyed it. The presentation was very well put together and very informative and as always Guy put it all over very well. The presentation from the FC Plant Health Guys was also very informative about invasive species that are here, could be here or could be on there way. On how they are being controlled and what measures are in place if there is another Chalara. There are a couple of other dates and it is well worth going to if you have time. Paul.

  17. Around the Reading area its easier said than done "getting to know a farmer" as the just aren't any farms around, most "farms" thatare about are livery yards and want ££££££££ and the earth to tip on them!
  18. I think its £20 per skip bin (the ones that go on the telehandler or £5 per dumpy bag of crap.
  19. Im surveying at the moment. Im not tagging the trees but I mark on a map with a dot and number that has been printed off of auto cad then record the relevant tree info onto a hand held computer. When I go back to the office the dots and numbers are transferred over to the maps on auto cad, I try and be as accurate as possible. Any trees to be felled are marked up with spray paint. I asked about tagging the trees but its not in the contract.

  21. Id take a load of pics and get on to the housing association and complain about her, see if they do anything.
  22. If the actual boards are ok and the fence has fallen because the post have rotted at the ground you could put in repair spurs to keep it up as a cheep repair.
  23. If anyone is over loaded in or around Maidenhead/Slough be aware as there having a crackdown on over weight trucks.
