  1. I do have really skinny legs. I knackered my knees.Once getting hit with a log in a yarder crew (dislocation of left knee),Ligament in the other from a fall when hunting in the mountains, and then impacted cartilage from a fall. I am far from the king of the Squat rack.
  2. 87Kg of pure ignorance. Blissful.
  3. Thanks for Pming Paul.He has decided to keep the pads for his own use.I will nab a pair off Mr Jones

  4. We pay for a service here that takes up matters like this. It costs about £350 per year and gives you 90% of the bill up front. It may mean you lose 10% off the cost of a job that won't pay. However compared to leagle cost's and time spent on chasing money,I think it is a bargin.
  5. Dave

There is a guy on here who's user name is PJR.He is one of your freinds and has some Pads for climbing Spikes for sale.I PM'd him but no luck.If you know him personally, could you tell him to check his messages or put me in touch with him.

  7. Dad made one just like that for me Coolie. Its in the Shed outside of Christchurch, yours if you pay postage.
  8. Thanks for taking the time to write that up and add pictures Dean.Things like that are what makes this site so valuable. I did the Bearings in my Jensen this year, with some help from Wood picker.
  9. Good job mate! Looked like a difficult one to get right.
  10. Exceptional Photos mate! Certainly some of the best I have ever seen!
  11. Top job that man! Excellent Video Dave!
  12. We use their loppers and secaturs, good value for money.Their Secaturs last longer than the Sandvik ones we used and don't hurt the pocket so much when I lose them. Their Loppers with the Blade that cuts to an Anvil are very good, the model with the bi pass blade like some Secaturs are not really Contractor quality in my experiance.
  13. Nice one mate! Looks very tidy.
  14. Welcome to the Forum mate!
  15. Rate them highly. Can't pick the difference from Saturns product to the original Jensen ones.
  16. Well done Steve, not seen many Willow's that big!
  17. I made a similar "sculpture" this morning.Although smaller it would not have needed a Fence to keep people away from it.
  18. Also the grouser bars on tracked machines sink into Poplar Decks a little bit, makes a Dozer or Digger a little bit more stable on a Truck after its chained down. People back home have made decks and out buildings from Poplar for an age.It seems as though if its off the ground or inside cladding it does ok.
  19. We had a Foot and a half of Rain last month. It started to Rain mid June and we have had no days without measurable precipiation since. Absolutly fed up with it.
  20. I drilled a hole in the flat peice of Steel between the two bolts.I think it was 8mm in dia.The hole is pretty much inline with the exhaust port.
  21. Prop the Tip body up with some Timbers before you start working on that problem mate!
  22. I have no idea about this but...... Since the Wood has been in Salt water, when the water evaporates would it leave the Salt behind?Since the Salt has gone from Saline solution to solid form, could it,if it is left behind be the cause of the Cracking? If after milling, you immursed the slabs in Fresh water and heated it,do you think that the timber might expand enough to transport the salt out? Totally hypothetical.
  23. STUNT FELL!l Saving time ain't a Crime!
  24. Interesting job mate! Am eager to see the pics of the Timber once its Milled!
  25. Civilian.Police are Civilians just like you and me.They are tried in Civilian courts, these days there are two rules. Shot in the guts by an incompetant idiot and the idiot gets a fine.
