  1. Maybe putting more weight on your heels might help.

  3. Sorry for the late answer. The Trango Cinch is about 50/60 pounds sterling ( or ask on here for a second hand one ) the rope is usually 10.5 mm dynamic . I use Beal Dynastat rope which conforms to 2 standards, both the semi-static and the dynamic rope standards. I use this set up for spruces and firs and usually when only the stem/trunk is left. You don't really need it , but it works for me. And where I live there's usually a lot firs to fell.

  5. I liked it . Pity they didn't take the wall down instead. On them kind of trees , this is what I use. With 30 meters Beal Dynastat.

  8. Like I said , friend of mine rescued a parrot changed 250 pounds successful or not . I think after two or three trees later he caught it.
