    Hey david, myself and jono spent quite a bit of time down near the lake-probably an hour or so. looking over the edge you had maybe 2 secs before the heat started to melt you. once the show screens on the 16th i can blast all my footage onto the net sure i can sly a few more in though before then.

    WOW!!!!!!! just got back to nz. we made it to within 1 metre of the lava lake-once im allowed to post footage i will. 500m ascent using the Actsafe ascenders-amazing pieces of equipment.amazing.

  17. still works pete. if your not running a rope guide though its bloody hard.
  18. hitch on both sides of your rope. have about 1m between hitch and termination splice on your climbing line. clip the victim into the termination splice on your climbing line. climb up until the rope becomes tight then descend on the hitch above the victim to raise them. way easier with pics sorry bro

  21. For sleeping up high i personally prefer the treeboat. The hennessy is awesome for lightweightness though but i prefer the heavy dutyness of the treeboat but the payoff is extra weiught. Matt has slept at around 81m up a gum in his hennessy though so its horses for courses really. Get both and then you wont be sleeping on your own:)
