  1. I've got 25 inch bars on both of mine and 36 inch .404 on the 660, 3120 and 090.

Blocked access from here. Here's a link that worked for me. Bill Hicks – Revelations (uncut) | Stand-Up Comedy Specials
  3. He almost lost his hand! Can you imagine having your hand crushed and caught in that notch and then as the log falls your climbing rope pulls tight.....
  4. I looked in to them but can't get them in the USA.
  5. Paul Stamets knows his shrooms! http://www.fungi.com/books/index.html

To get a good match between the climbing rope and the tress cord I stick with 4 wraps and two braids and then keep shortening the tress cord until the combination works perfectly! If it slips, creeps or just does not grab the tress cord is to long. This means scaffold knots on the tress cord of course.

  8. False and dangerous statement.
  9. Makes me doubt it's been dead for at least five years.
  10. "I like to start saws in the tree as little as possible, so this habit annoys the hell out of me." Hearing idling saws in the tree annoys the hell out of me! LOL. I don't think any two stroke chain saw engine is designed for long idles. It's the nature of the beast. To design them for long idling likely we would loose performance on the top end.
  11. I've always liked the guitar line in this song by Blind Melon. I understand the singer died shortly after this live video. [ame] [/ame]

Those two saws use the same bars.
  15. I've wanted one of these for at least the past five years! http://www.logmauler.com/
  16. Does that small hydraulic motor really drive a feed wheel that size? Or is there some gearing that I'm not seeing inside the drum.
  17. I've replaced mine twice with NE Saftey Blue like you are describing. Works great. I did not like how the stitches on the original bridge seemed to catch so much wear.
  18. IMO, this is a false statement. The two devices are very similar in function and form much like the Stihl 440 is like the Stihl 460.
  19. Bought a Hobbs in 1989. Great tool. Bought a GRCS in 2002. It's a better tool. Very little energy is required on the users part. I think a powered unit would provide little benefit, weight more, cost more and be less dependable.
