  1. From Wikipedia Woodworking Laburnum has historically been used for cabinetmaking and inlay, as well as for musical instruments. In addition to such wind instruments as recorders and flutes, it was a popular wood for Great Highland bagpipes[1] before taste turned to imported dense tropical hardwoods such as cocuswood, ebony, and African blackwood.[2] The heart-wood of a laburnum may be used as a substitute for ebony or rosewood, very hard and a dark chocolate brown, with a butter-yellow sapwood.

  7. Yes I did and at the moment it's kicked arse on everything I've used it on. Really enjoying the bed space for freedom of movement for me. Got the reindeers down to about 7-8 minutes each so halved my time. Got the bandsaw from my local machine mart directly from record power. Can you show me please where is says a dog has died from chewing yew wood not berries or foliage, as I'm genuinely interested as I do work with the stuff and been drinking out of a goblet/cup for years with no effects. Like I've said before as far as I know no human has died from boards, bowls , goblets, wood . I know a few dogs that have died from chewing wood only to find out it was splinters and pieces of wood that pierced various things. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
  24. Go on roof drop rope down to fire, tie something like a cushion that fits tight in the hole and pull up. I have done before but with a big sponge and a disc of wood at the bottom. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
