  1. I don't think it is breaching their copyright if you attribute the image to them: Brand Resource Center | Products and Services - Geo Guidelines ABOUT.GOOGLE
  2. It's getting much better, all those grey military planes that have been buzzing about have been generating good images. I think the imagery in Google Earth and the Pro version is from the same source, the Pro version offers more functionality.
  3. Rwanda asylum seekers: UK government criticised over 'cruel' plan WWW.BBC.CO.UK Some of those arriving on small boats will be sent to the country as part of a £120m trial. If someone from Rwanda was claiming asylum in the UK, would he be sent back? Answer is no, covered in the treaty, supposedly... They wheel out the favourable, right-wing stuff just before local elections on May 5th in order to throw a bone at the people who thought Boris was a saviour but now rightly think that they've been betrayed by the gov. They'll soon send Boris into oblivion for his shitehawk behaviour, and then continue to piss on us and tell us it's raining.
  4. Download Google Earth Pro from here: https://www.google.com/earth/download/gep/agree.html?hl=en-GB. Google Earth WWW.GOOGLE.COM Google Earth lets you fly anywhere on Earth to view satellite imagery, maps, terrain and 3D buildings, from galaxies in... Zoom into the site location, go to File menu, then Print, select A3 from the top drop-down menu at the top of the page. Write on and stick white stickers to the map to annotate boundaries/field names/specs etc. You can also save the current screenshot so that you can open the image as a pdf and annotate it that way but stickers will do the job.
  5. Depending on how well you know your way around a computer: 1) Download QGIS: Welcome to the QGIS project! WWW.QGIS.ORG 2) Spend some time reading/watching online tutorials that explain how to do what you want to do with QGIS and OS OpenData. 3) Download the OS OpenData map you require, 'Zoomstack' is up to 1:10,000 scale: OS Open Zoomstack | OS Tools & Support WWW.ORDNANCESURVEY.CO.UK Support for OS Open Zoomstack including frequently-asked questions, user guide, release note and other useful... OS Data Hub OSDATAHUB.OS.UK 4) If you wanted to you could export the area you need as a geo-referenced 'DXF' file, which can be handy. All the above is free.
  6. That explanation has given me a whole new appreciation of the word 'Temper'. Cheers.
  7. That's exactly what I meant, cheers Stubby, I've watched too much 'Forged in Fire' and think I know the terminology.
  8. I don't know much about her and hopefully she has some integrity. My dog is in different political league to those two. Did you hear that Lord Lebvedev has a dog called 'Boris'?
  9. Perhaps she has spied a route to the top table. I pretty much ignored the rules too, the BIG issue is that the UK is meant to be ruled by law. If the law makers don't follow their own rules, why and how can they expect to enforce other laws? It could set a dangerous precedent. One rule for them and all that? Feck that.
  10. You should email her and suggest it. Do you reckon she'd be popular in England as the PM?
  11. I think you'll find that most arborists will hand sharpen their own saws. Bench grinders can be useful on bigger, knackered chains, you have to be careful though as you can temper the cutter with the grinding stone which means you can no longer hand sharpen with files. You could look into landscapers as a source of custom but there's a very real chance that you'll end up with some mullered chains to work with, if you get any at all. Saying that, it may end up being a worthwhile investment if supply-chain issues continue, most arbs I know have fair few knackered chain loops and might end up revisiting them. What else do you sharpen? If you can do chipper blades you might be able to pitch the chain sharpening to those clients. Good luck whatever you decide to do.
  12. Scottish Conservatives split as Ruth Davidson demands Boris Johnson resigns over partygate fine - Daily Record WWW.DAILYRECORD.CO.UK Ruth Davidson has urged Boris Johnson to quit Downing Street - but Douglas Ross wants the Prime Minister to stay on. Do you still agree with her views?

  14. Hew muppet, Nobody is sending me fines for criminal activities. What's Your poster boy Rishi got to do with it?
  15. Jamie Driscoll, North of Tyne Mayor And we're here again - one rule for us, another rule for them. But this time unusually they've been caught. At a time of immense suffering by the people the PM and his chums were having a party. An apology won’t cut it. It’s time for him to go.
  16. They fined students (who were pretty unlikely to die of COVID) who had a party £10K. I wonder how much they'll fine the rich ones at the top.
  17. I dunno, I'd probably sack an employee if they got found out about something and then lied about it afterwards. People mess up all the time, but honesty and fessing up makes life more tolerable for all, in the long run.
  18. Perhaps you could broaden your associations, I know loads of people who are rightly pissed off with them What's this got to do with labour? There's no way they will be getting my vote anytime soon., I haven't been a member of the labour party since Starmer was voted in. I think that having known liars in parliament isn't going to end well for the little man. If you set the rules you should play by them, nobody likes a hypocrite.
  19. Partygate: Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak fined over lockdown gatherings WWW.THETIMES.CO.UK Boris Johnson has become the first prime minister found to have committed a criminal offence in office, after No 10...
