  1. Aye, It's amazing what you can do with a little bit of intelligence.
  2. I know that you, like me, are a green at heart. What makes you think that Comrade Corbyn is such bad news? The labour party's manifesto was fully costed and their current guidance on fiscal policy is coming from non other than Yanis Varoufakis. The tories are abosolutely rubbish at running a government. Why do you think another tory (Mogg) would make thiins better? Genuine question.
  3. I'm not sure that they ever had 3). I reckon that 2) could be considered contentious.
  4. Tory implosion.
  5. I try to find quietish places and if approached by rangers etc, just explain I need to rest and I'll be away in the morning with no mess. Never had a problem yet.
  6. Aye, even though the logo looks mint for 82, I was only five years old then so it escaped me.
  7. It's interesting how music from different places can be so similar. Folk music sounds' folky' everywhere.
  8. To be honest mate, I'm not sure it really needs a warning label. You'd have to be tapped to mess with one of those. I've noticed when I've been on travels, that you don't always have a sign warning of deep excavations etc. I think it's just accepted alot of places, that if you're daft enough to fail to see a hole or you bang your head on something, you deserve to...
  9. Aye, that's how I found them too.
  10. Probably.
  11. I learned as a raver that salt cures cramps. I wish I could remember the rest...
  12. Blakes was my favourite hitch for years. The stopper knot just acts as a back up for when all your training and knowledge abandons you for some reason. In much the same way that you may tie a knot at the tail end of your rope. I mean, no one in their right mind is going to descend off the end of their rope, however, sometimes the unexpected happens.
  13. I reckon she was constantly on edge, waiting for a xenomorph to explode from her body to do much research.
  14. Maybe your exotic holiday should involve a trip with a tanker to Kielder.
  15. I reckon he should be the next host for Question Time: "Next up, one proper angry geezer who doesn't know what he's farkin on abaht'...
  16. I understand why you might well have justifyable malice towards certain people. Not everyone who lives out a caravan is a villain though. That's important to remember.
  17. Some of the most profitable work I've ever done was for Travellers. There's bad apples in every walk of life, prejudice helps no-one.
  18. I quite like the sentiment.
  19. Good question Thankfully we're unlikely to find out.
  20. Aye, I struggle to understand the concept of anything other than 'Job and Knock'.
  21. The hardest job is biting your tongue.
