  3. Your phone location is triangulated by its proximity to cell towers (amongst other things). Whether you have your 'location' on or off, it is always on. The API in the menu settings isn't a program as such, it just allows a program to integrate with the device. An interested party can gain access to your phone without your knowledge. They may even be doing it already. It's a canny handy way to gather a large amount of data which could lead to informed decisions on controlling the spread of COVID-19. The link below is an insight: Reflections on Programming Systems BOOKS.GOOGLE.CO.UK This book presents a historical and philosophical analysis of programming systems, intended as large computational...

  5. You can run all the MS Office programs from a mac. I'm not sure if your macros will translate, but I don't see a reason why they wouldn't.

    Jokes???

  7. You can minimise your digital footprint but it's nigh on impossible to disappear.
  8. Aye, but any data source can be hacked.
  9. Haha. Cheers.
  10. If you have a 'smartphone', your data is already theirs.
  11. I think this is all muddying the waters of the matter at hand.
  12. The blues doesn't care what colour your skin is.
  13. "Apple - We will make a free track and trace system. Google - We will help, then it will work across 99 percent of phones. Should be ready by May. UK govt - No, We'll make our own version. Apple and Google - you'd need our help. Uk govt. - No we dont, Dom's mate says he can do it. Apple and Google - off you go then. Dom's mate - can I have your propriety code. Apple and Google - hahahaha. No. Dom's mate - why not? Apple and Google - Because your system breaches international privacy laws by ripping peoples contact data and storing it on your servers so you can use or sell it later. Public - It does? F' that! Hancock - our world beating system is up and running, at a cost of only £120,000,000 NHS - no its not. Hancock - we have hit a snag. Public - Whats that? Hancock - It doesn't work on iPhones. Or Android. And nobody wants to download it. Whole world - really...?" Contact Tracing to Tackle Coronavirus in England Off to a Slow Start - The New York Times WWW.NYTIMES.COM Like a lot of the country’s pandemic response, contact tracing has been hampered by inconsistency, with much promised...
  14. Someone forgot to proof read what they'd written the night before.
  15. I love the way the mail CAPITALISE words in headlines. I can't see that going very far. Not that stadiums full of people are looking likely anytime soon. Anyone who's seen 'Blazing Saddles' knows 'Swing Low Sweet Chariot' is a slave tune.
  16. Haha, who voted for this weapon?
  17. Also get a decent accountant if you don't already have one. It may be that you are able to claim back the VAT you've paid on some of your pre-existing assets.
  18. People pay VAT on most things. You may find you win more profitable work as a result. Being VAT registered indicates a level of integrity, which people like.
  19. It is ridiculous. Everyone should be anti racist.
  20. Maybe so. If things don't get called out, they get out of hand.
  21. They were doing nazi salutes, I asked you if you'd condemn them if you were next to them. Your refusal to do so indicates that you wouldn't. That makes you one of them. Unless you happen to have a compelling reason why you might pretend to endorse it.
  22. So you're one of them then. **************** off.
  23. If the person standing next to you started 'seig heiling', would you have a word or not? If not, you're one of them. My brother (whey closest friend since the age of five) recently got out after 22 odd years in the army. He came out as a first class warrant officer. I have nothing but respect for the forces. I don't agree with the government but that's a different kettle of fish. I'm glad you think I'm one of the most 'extreme' on here.
