  1. How much time do you spend shopping? I can't see you browsing the aisles of supermarkets on the regular. There's mass uncertainty at the moment. For the sake of donning a mask while grabbing some supplies, it's not a major inconvenience. PS - If you stick your thumb up your ass and press your belly button for five seconds, you reset.
  2. Me old man had to renew his picture on his license. They told him he hadn't sent a new picture, which he had. He sent in another new picture and three months later they sent a new one, valid for the next decade or so, with the picture from his old license on. DVLA and the Rev are just cranking back into action again, now that people are heading back to work. My ex bitter half is an accountant and she's just now getting responses to things from months ago.
  3. Aye, we are all going to die. Stick a mask on and crack on. Surely wearing a mask in shops isn't going to crash the economy much further than it already has. As for the mental health issues of staring at the same four walls, imagine you're one of those people who are older with bad asthma, how would you feel knowing that you're going to be staring at those walls forever, unless other people wear a mask in shops? Works both ways.
  4. Apart from the diver bit, you're woefully misguided.
  5. I'm not yet convinced that it has been an overreaction. Even the people who 'know' about things don't trust the figures coming out of the government. My concern is that we might be jumping the gun. I have little faith in governement but do have faith in science. I've seen ugly things too mate. I wouldn't toe the line if there wasn't sound reasoning behind it. Until we know what's actually going on, we need to assume the worst. As more data becomes available from countries where they seem to have a handle on it, then we'll be able to make better decisions, independent of the Gov. Just wear a mask for a bit in a shop, pretend you're a racoon. If following the advice fails to stem the rate of infections, then aye, screw em, but until then I reckon it's best to go along with it.

    Jokes???

  7. Nah mate, You go on as if this is all a smokescreen like joke. Death by covid-19 isn't fun. I'm told. Why not show a little consideration for others who may not be blessed with the good health you have?
  8. I know that he comes across as a poorly programmed bot. He's probably got a canny hook on him for a robot though. I've had DMT, it might be different DMTto the one he's on about, but it's worth a shot. FAC is to do with guns and anger about toys being taken away. A raging hate for the SNP when, if you compare their reaction to the other countries that seem to be edging towards management of this pandemic, their policies seem sane.
  9. Perfect angle of dangle.
  10. I dunno like. If you're working for someone then you should direct the punters questions to them. If you think you can do a better job, then set up on your own, crack on and wait for them to approach you, instead of poaching. Seems the polite way to do it. Even if the company is a shitgibbon and the punter is lovely, your contract is with the company, not them.
  11. Paramedics will be, you'd imagine, geting tested for covid pretty regularly. The turn around on tests in hospital for patients is less than 12hrs, it'll be quicker for staff. Indoors in places with little airflow appears to be the main vector for transmission. I can't see paramedics being intentionally reckless. It's not what they do.
  12. Same as it's always been, don't shout 'Give me the money!', and you'll be alright.
  13. Perhaps figures are 'vitually' zero because of the measures that wee ginger, SNP glorious leader has put in place? If restrictions were lifted and cases and deaths rose, would you be happy about it?
  14. Yup, it doesn't really make sense to me either. Some clarity as to what is guiding their decision making would be good.
  15. The main benefit I can see by wearing masks in shops, is that people who are more at risk might now be able to leave their houses and get on with their lives. It's not a major concession to whack one on in a shop.
  16. You should probably get someone in for a look. Too many variables to consider online.
  17. Aye, heave occurs when there is a pre-existing soil moisture deficit at the time of build. There can be issues when trees are younger than the main house, but older than extensions/conservatories. Without a self-serving sum of money, it's impossible to advise without all the site data.
  18. I think a great deal of it is to do with proportionality. Pre-amplification, if you wanted a big sound you had to make a big thing. Perhaps people were smaller in 1775. Good choice. You could have fun with a church organ.
  19. Nothing to see here... UK government 'phoned Saudi Arabia to apologise' for human rights sa… WWW.INDEPENDENT.CO.UK The UK government privately showered Saudi Arabia’s government with praise a day after publicly criticising its...
  20. I took it as 37hrs a week.
  21. It's a birch though, it'll have a bit of a tantrum and die off. Pops etc., then aye, they'll go crackers.
