  2. LA's have been known to fill positions through an agency. If they offer a tree inspector 40K, how much are they paying the agency on top?

  5. I have no idea mate.
  6. I think you've misinterpreted things. Re-read the first post and those following and see if you form a different opinion.
  7. RIP Sean Lock, he was funny.
  8. True enough. There should be some provision on site I suppose, I'm not sure how that would/should work though. I've worked with a few lasses in Arb, there's never been any problem with them jumping in the truck and going somewhere clean if they need to. The rest of the time they shit in the back of the truck with the rest of us.
  9. Everyone slashes in the back of the van. Site rules. Makes for better woodchip too.

  11. Hot knife melts/seals the end while cutting if you have tape wrapped round.
  12. I just wrap some electrical tape around the piece to be cut, heat up a sharp knife on the hob or a lighter and then cut through. Reminds me a little of hotknives.
  13. We're throwing away opportunities all over shop: AWS tops up the Bezos rocket fund thanks to more money from Brit tax collection agency • The Register WWW.THEREGISTER.COM A 48-month, £41m hyperscale cloud service deal done with HMRC Taxpayers foot the bill: HMRC signs up Cognizant for £150m low-code, automation project • The Register WWW.THEREGISTER.COM Brit tax collection agency's IT estate contains 'significant risk'
  14. Offshore wind sector in north-east England lifted by investments | Manufacturing sector | The Guardian WWW.THEGUARDIAN.COM More than 1,000 jobs created or safeguarded as SeAH and Smulders projects are backed by state funding Do you think that they'll continue to import things for the construction of the proposed wind farms on the East coast?
  15. The killer sounds like he was that messed up that he'd have found a way to seek 'revenge' with or without guns.
  16. What current legislation did the police fail to implement? It seems from the article above that he was given his gun license back after being investigated for an assault. Sad state of affairs when nutters like that are allowed guns.

Sorry to hear the news mate.
  18. Indeed, if Prince Andrew was black there's no chance they would have exposed him for being a nonce.
  19. Those 'Yellow Jackets' were parked up near Jarrow for a while. I was amazed that they were shipped here for assembling rather than being fabricated here, a double piss take given the heritage of shipbuilding in the NE.
  20. Install a compost toilet, disabled visitors might find it troublesome to squat over a hole in the ground. Mutter something about The Disability Discrimination Act 1995.
  21. I've had bank statements for years and they've always done that. Blockchain technology is something to be aware of. At the moment it's mostly deregulated here in the West - The banks don't like that, after all they are the middle man and if it becomes apparent they're pointless then their phoney baloney jobs will be exposed as the puddles they are. So beware of government endorsed blockchain tech. Unless you trust them.
