  3. thanks mate, Ive never climbed on a rope wrench, thought about getting one at the APF but for me they seem to be a solution to a problem that doesnt realy exist (for me anyway) As far as i can see, the main benefit apart from ascending and the ability to work whilst ascending is not having friction when you redirect. I find a well planned climb solves the problem and if i have to redirect to get to a section il install one that can be retrieved when i retrieve my rope guide and make sure thats my last station before i descend

  7. am i right in thinking there is a product called arborscrew or similar? im sure ive seen it somewhere. a screw that has a sprung fixing that adjusts with the incremental growth of the tree any help would be apreciated cheers john
