  1. ive been wearing my salomans all day reducing a lime and beech tree,and they are lovely to climb in, the only thing ive got with them is that they are very soft around the edges of your feet and i know the scarpas are more robust as they are designed as a scambling/climbing boot. size wise did you go smaller or slightly bigger steve

  3. been thinking about getting a pair for a while now.pros and cons please guys. i have a pair of salomon mid GTX http://www.salomonsports.com/uk/#/footwear/footwear/hiking that i have been wearing for silky ony reductions:001_smile: etc for a while now and they are great for climbing in, sooooooooooo grippy. so come on whats your opinions
  4. i never had one up untill about 3 months ago, never really thought it was essential, but now i love having it. i have a large isc krab on the end held in position with some rubber bungs,it does the job but would look neater with a krab/swivel combo
  5. run mine with an isc grap and its great
  6. ive got one and its great. got a set of all terains on it and it goes wherever i want it. its pretty simple ive just got the standard version, and it pretty comfotable even on longer drives
  7. ive got a yr 2000 mazda b2500 and its a cracking truck

  10. cool,cant remember what i paid for mine but it was around the 80 mark, to be onest it was a bit of an impulse buy as i only bought a new vertex 6months ago, but i dont regrett it
  11. oh, i didnt know that,when i bought it the guy told me it was the first helmet with side impact, just wondering whats your price on one with a mesh visor and muffs
  12. yes i got side impact, thought it was standard
  13. ive got one its great. incredably solid feeling dosnt move around like the vertex doe i got mine without the plastic visor. i dont go much on the ear muffs but aparantly they are currently working on an attachment to take the other type so they will do for the moment i can highly reccommend this helmet
  14. hard to tell really they dont like you climbing the sequoias just past blackwater arboretum on the ornamental drive all 156 ft of them
  15. i have the greatest intentions but never seem to go was thinking about competing this year and thought i should start going on the weekends but it hasnt happend yet
