  1. unfortunately it is an expensive place to live
  2. cant remember, the final interviews were at the end of november and ive "filed" the information away somewhere
  3. wages vary all over but 80 a day before tax in my opinion is crap for a senior position. and the cost of living is pretty high in the new forest
  4. very poor money. unfortunately this seems to be a reacurring theme. the recently advertised position of senior arborist at hilliers was upto 20g. very poor i belive for a senior position

  15. im after a pair of the airstreams as well, ive had my meindl waufthingamijiggers for 2 years now and cant face retiring them as theyve got loads of life left in them and they are uber comfy. maybe il get them at the aa in june im really after a second pair of lighter boots though

  20. am i right in thinking they are slightly wide. if so thats great because my feet are wider
  21. ive been wearing my salomans all day reducing a lime and beech tree,and they are lovely to climb in, the only thing ive got with them is that they are very soft around the edges of your feet and i know the scarpas are more robust as they are designed as a scambling/climbing boot. size wise did you go smaller or slightly bigger steve

  23. been thinking about getting a pair for a while now.pros and cons please guys. i have a pair of salomon mid GTX http://www.salomonsports.com/uk/#/footwear/footwear/hiking that i have been wearing for silky ony reductions:001_smile: etc for a while now and they are great for climbing in, sooooooooooo grippy. so come on whats your opinions
  24. i never had one up untill about 3 months ago, never really thought it was essential, but now i love having it. i have a large isc krab on the end held in position with some rubber bungs,it does the job but would look neater with a krab/swivel combo
  25. run mine with an isc grap and its great
