  2. I feel sorry for his son Paul Young, imagine having to live with the knowledge of what your father really is. I reckon the son was far more Talented than the Father... [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=hUKBuAkr4Lg[/ame]

  5. I grew up in Belfast / Armagh in the '70's. that was interesting times, as you may well imagine. We moved to the mainland UK in '79, just in time to experience 3 day weeks, work to rule, union strikes, rubbish on the streets, evening blackouts, crap telly and a vote of no confidence in Heaths government. the best thing about the 70's is that they gave way to the 80's
  6. Hey Drella, have you read about Gary glitter lately? Bit of a social faux pas putting up his vids...
  7. To the Gent that sent me a PM enquiring about the machines he saw working at the Royal Highland show, I seem to have accidently deleted your private message. If you need any info, just reply to this thread. ED

    Life:

Just been over to see my Grandfather. He's 97 and just been diagnosed with lung cancer. He's not happy, the doctor said he'd had a good innings, my Grandfather said he wants a century He has a few days, possibly a week left. He was a proper loony in his day. 'Borrowed' a sunbeam motercycle when he was fourteen and set a record, Caernarfon to liverpool in two hours. Lay down between the train tracks and let the express go over him as a bet. Says the engine dropped a hot cinder on his head as it passed over, but he did'nt dare move it in case a carriage hit him. Shot the vicars hat off with a 410 as a joke.... He was still driving till last week, and not slowly either. I hope I get as good an innings...
  10. Remember guys, Roger works in Seattle, USA. Their PPE laws are a tad less rigorous than ours Cool pics Rog.

  14. Anybody want to do a couple of stumps for me in Shropshire? Need them doing next week, and I'm way to busy myself.
  15. On watching the Video again, i have decided - The hedge is comprehensively dead. No way is it recovering from that. That felling like that was bad workmanship, and a bad call. I could have dismantled it in under an hour without smashing the hedge. Tana, this is not a go at you, I assume it was not your call, you were there to place shackles.

    Ladder or not?

    I likes a ladder.
  20. Pollarding is not topping. But I agree on the course of action - lighten load and brace. will last for another 100 years. Its Vitally important that trees like that are retained in any way. Its incredible the amount of flora and fauna that inhabit an old oak tree. Each tree is a micro eco system in itself.
  21. Except when you get them in your tights:001_tongue:
  22. Big expansion chamber
  23. In comparison to....?
  24. Exemplary work Reg.
