  1. You must have had a duff engine nick. My old E14 cargo would pull 15 cube of chip and a 12" chipper without ever running out of power. I would be very wary of overloading though - my cargo with a full load of chip used to weigh nearly 9 tonnes...
  2. Its all read out on the computer, and I have gone down to 2" tops when cutting fencing stakes with a Keto 100. It depends on wht the deal on the timber is, they might have been told to just harvest the Logs and the Bars.
  3. yes, goes through the hole, round the stem and locks back in. Bit on the heavy side - I had one swing on the end of the choker and catch me on the shoulder - Damn near broke my collarbone.
  4. I did climb up the tower to take some of those shots, but its too big a site to get perspective. The other thing is that the drag trails tend to dissapear after a few weeks. The shots with the birch in the left margin were to show how after 2 months, there was'nt a trace we'd even been there. Considering the tonnage we removed, and the incredibly delicate nature of the site, I'm more than pleased with the results.
  5. Pewag wire choker. Austrian import.
  6. I have a huge amount of respect for those axmen - If you'd have put a film crew with us I reckon you could easily put together 45 minute film of mayhem, danger, stupidity, cockups and foul language. LAST PICS....

  8. A little... Get the tiebacks tensioned properly and there is next to no movement.
  9. No feet dean, all the pressure goes on the tyres.
  10. I was very hungry, not Jim its Roach up the first and me up the second, and yes, slow puncture on the volvo
