  3. Will, what broke? Was it the plastics or the av springs? Were the springs bent? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

Comparison? Mmmmm. I'd say the 150 even modded is still a bit behind the 192 in the power ranks. The 192 is nearer the 201 in standard form, but a modded 192 will have better uptake and speed in the cut than a stock 201, more comparable to a 200. Never run a modded 201 myself. All that said, although the 150 has it's limits, it's an excellent little thing, there's certainly a place for it if you do a deal of pruning. The 192 is a different animal IMO. Sort of an all rounder when modded, nice and light for pruning yet will tackle a modest dismantle, only pushed into second place in the power stakes by the epic 200. Only one real conclusion I can make is, if you can get hold of a 192, the 201 becomes a slightly pointless saw, especially given that if you don't have a good 200, there's the next best thing,,,,,,,, a 540. And then, quite importantly, reset carb if required:sneaky2:
  6. Cheers for that. An interesting price though, as it seems if you were pricing against most others who gave prices here, you would have won the job anyhow. As Mark says though, there's only you seen the tree.
  7. So Huck, did they say it had been due to heavy use?
  8. It seems to be coming from a joint in the tank. It's wettest around the top right corner of the tank, where it seems the side panel of the tank has a seam where it's bonded to the main body of it. Mainly wondering if it's a "common" problem, as otherwise I dare say it would be easy to be accused of rough treatment!😛 Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  9. As title, anyone have any tanks leaking? Also should this be covered on warranty with a 3 month old saw? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  10. Yup! Ditto. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  11. Selfish. A shame you feel like that, especially given the amount of time and effort the other posters put into the thread! What was the name of the thread again? Oh, the irony. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  12. Nice Rich, cheers for putting that together. Wasn't too sure how well the groundie was running the rope initially, but sure showed his worth when you knocked the right hand top off.
  13. An amazing piece of workmanship. Very nice, always love oak myself:thumbup1: BUT, I was going to say this; Sorry man, but they really have to go:blushing:
  14. Interesting, thanks. It's always been a tractor that fascinated me. I've seen many, worked along side quite a few, but even to my own disbelief, never driven one! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  15. Did ya get sorted? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  16. Anyone know of the demise of "county"? I mean, we all love to see them, and I realise the mass producers replaced them, but when did they stop producing? Is the company still alive, possibly doing other stuff? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  17. Nah, I'd want 850 for getting it down, another 250 for shutdown, on the condition I got the wood. Sell the wood to Bob for 200 and sub Stevie to do the job at his easy hours work for 100 quid. I'll be in the pub. Simples. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  18. Keep it quiet though, the customer only needs to know it's a bit issue. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  19. Don't know mate, never done one. It's much more simple to not bother with insurance but tell the customer it's real dangerous. Just quote the 2 tree length rule & no one else will touch it but you'll do it for danger money. Quids in. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  20. Shut down required then. Unless you do it without insurance. A good bargaining tool to get nearer the 800 mentioned above. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  21. Is it more than 2 tree lengths? Looks more like one? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  22. Is this with a shut down on the LV? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
