  1. Ian, could I ask why was that cord being chipped? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  2. I did try and make my comment as sarcastic as I possibly could, but obviously missed by some. The point was, I'm sure someone else had given an explanation in the post before.👍 Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  3. I realise this thread has been running for a while now, but only just seen it! This man is very local to me, still alive, although very aged. Worth a look, see what you think. FROM START TO FINISH | YFA
  4. On the whole, tractors fitted with front pto run them in the opposite direction to the rear. Occasionally manufacturers can set up to run the same, or, you can fit a gear box to reverse the drive to make it the same as the rear. Without "anticlock" running most chippers, processors etc is a no go.
  5. Looks nice Daniel. Steve, that's the sort of thing I've been looking at upgrading to. Not sure I dare get involved with that one though, given the glowing reports you've given on it😜 Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  6. Haha, I've done one but my pit is calling now. Hope I don't have nightmares of three cornered chogs flying at me😎 Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  7. Shame you didn't have a bigger saw with you, would of saved a lot of toe cutting👍 Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  8. Haha! I'll take a look! Lol! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  9. You cut the toes off!!!!!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  10. No worries, was just thinking your market was a little small given the small radius of travel you prefer. Seems lots of domestic you're missing out on in the area, especially if you were short of work. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  11. Can I ask why are you only wanting highway work? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  12. Get it booked in soon Steve. It's likely to pack in altogether in a day or two. Once it fails fully you'll be left with the car on it's access height setting and won't be able to drive to garage. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  14. Very good point Craig. I assume it's with Steve's approval? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  15. Only just found this, I'll happily get involved. I'm in the heart of East Yorkshire. I'll get some info together and forward it to you via. I'd also be happy to offer extra help on spec and suggestions on the actual firewood, but not sure I could help much on the I.T. side of things though.
  16. Could I ask who's machine it is? Is it one of Vickarys? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  17. No wonder burglars are getting away with doing old folks over. 👎 Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  18. Can't complain about ours Jon, yours maybe a Friday night job? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  19. The later disco 2 had mostly air, just at the rear, but I think it was mainly the base models that had springs at rear, such as commercial. Like Huck, I've never heard of springs on a 3 though. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  20. Never had an issue with our h/brake. These so called "issues" with these cars are blown out of all proportion. The very large majority of people who actually get to own one, would buy another. Can't be all that bad! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  21. Jon, a landy specialist will do belts easily and possibly cheaper than a cheapo corner garage who doesn't know what they're doing. The air compressor is probably the most expensive "common" issue. Later ones and any replacement compressors are upgraded and no problem. The handbrake gears are common apparently, but not expensive. 22. Mines 07. Think it's near 80k now. One lad who works for me has an 07 also, does 32k a year with it, not owned from new but near 180k on clock now. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  23. Sorry Huck, posted at same time! Same message👍 Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
