I think the spaniel looks like its waiting for its next command from its owner. The rotty looks like it will never obay a command from anyone, and is thinking if i put a happy smilie face on, i might get a biscuit!

Oh, forgot to say Rhys, in my opinion, those folding ladders never look that strong to me, maybe because im a fat lad, but i always suspect the nuckles are going to give way:scared1:

Just did a quick search for the type i use and these are very similar. combination ladders zarges skymaster Hailo Youngman 100 and 3 way Mine are actually youngman "industrial 200" 3 way and i think they are about 8 feet closed up. They will go to gutter height of a normal house in ladder mode and its suprising how high you can reach in step mode. Think they were £150 new. They are the only set of ladders i have, are about 5 years old and get taken out to 90% of jobs. Lasted very well, but getting tired now. Just my ten.

Had another today, or should i say this is "todays" cheeky customer; Little rowan out, £80 down to the ground. Did said works, customer came out and this was the conversation; "Oh, that didnt take long, who does the check need making out to?" "It was £80 wasnt it?" Told her the mane and confirmed the price "ok, Ill go and get a check for you" "Oh, actually, while you are here, could you just cut that elder back thats hanging over the fence from the farmers field?" "Sure Mrs H, it wont take me long while im here. I dare say Ill have it done by the time the kettle has boiled. Ill have strong coffee with one sugar"! Got my £80 cheque, a nice coffee and a couple of bourbons

Its NPTC tickets i have, and quote the NPTC Qualified Workforce logo. Does it really matter who the training was done by? Training dont mean jack anyway, experience is much more valuable.

Whats a real hedge cutter out of interest? No, no, no! You miss quote me! A real hedge cutter is a stihl HS81r A real hedge trimmer is a robin(no longer available unfortunately) or Echo HC331

In my opinion, if you are after a trimmer, there are much better machines out there than Stihl. If you want to make a nice tidy job on privet, tight trimmed conifer etc, i would steer well clear. If you are not bothered about finish, get a stihl cutter, it will savage a thorn hedge but thats about it. It will require spending more money though if you get a REAL hedge trimmer.

In all fairness, these saws are still relatively new, and you will struggle to find a totally "dead" one at this stage. If you do get to the point you want to sell it, i would gladly buy it from you as a project. Good luck with your search, but remember me if you do decide to part with it:thumbup1:

I have been trying to get log suppliers to change over to selling by bulk for some time now. Unfortunately, many traders find it "easier" to sell in what they believe the customer understands. The first hirdle is to educate customers, and get them to understand that buying by "load" or "ton bag" etc is leaving them open to "variations" shall we say.

But, this does sound like a challenge; Is it because YOU couldnt get your rope into the tree for an hour? I have copy and pasted this post from the main waste transfer license thread as i am hoping that this is the general direction those who have shown interest, would like this issue to head. If this is a general basis for Paul to build a proposal, could people either agree or perhaps suggest any other issues they feel are important and have not been mention so far, and this important issue can move forward. Perhaps Paul could also share thoughts on this as a base for a proposal.

Is that why you still sell logs by the "one ton dumpy bag" Bob, as you can send anything out and its ok? I know this subject is a little repetative, but if i ordered a one ton bag of logs off you, i would expect a ton of logs to be dropped off!

Ok, the way it was described to me was, if one trailer is suspended by another, or by the "tractor" it would become articulated. That is, it becomes one vehicle. That vehicle can then tow a trailer. BUT, as i said before, one trailer cannot tow another. It can carry one, but not tow one! Your interpretation of a "towball" is slightly different to that of the DVLA!
