I have tried one foot loop, Pantin, right hand Ascender, single line with a VT as a back up.

I took the rotator down to a local place on Tuesday, they called today to tell me the hole for the rotator shaft was oversize, somebody, they think, must have bored a new hole through it at some time for some strange reason, they think that this had something to do with the shaft snapping, that and the incredibly blunt blades. Tsk, tsk, mo money.

I have a pair of CMI ascenders that I very rarely use but when I do they are a great way to access a tree.

My 254 xp rips, I used it recently on leaning Willows and Poplars and the speed of cutting was a pleasure.

I have Solpadol now which is 30mg Codeine, 500mg Paracetamol, works pretty well, also once or twice a month I have a proper sports massage, I also stretch out before work, (usually) and always have a hot water bottle on my back on the way to work.
