    Padstow is a nice little place, check out Harlyn Bay, lovely beach, in fact all the beaches down there are very nice. Avoid Rick Steins fish and chip restaurant.

  12. I agree with the Sequoia harness, I work with a lad who has the build of a pencil and his Sequoia fits him well.

I had a dsc prolapse, had to take a long time off and was told by various doctors, specialists, to give up climbing, I have had job interviews and told them straight about my injury and it cost me the chance of employment. I am self employed now but normally only work four days a week as I find more than four days is just too painful.

  22. Ah, that's where your wrong my short sighted, jump to conclusions, friend, It was left like that. Reason? The wood below our cut was not suitable to make a good felling cut in. Jeez, some people! What a doughnut.

  24. I was surprised when reading Gerry's, Fundamentals of General Treework that lag hooks were being used.

Well, I am exhausted just watching the videos, I have never seen the floating pulley for rope retrieval and will store than one in my tiny brain for later use, also the way you were blocking the stem down I have never seen, cutting 3/4 through and then down from the top, saves making that awkward second cut and gives the rope something to run against, different and informative, thanks Reg, you earned your money on that removal.
