  2. Ben, I know you're a busy man but wonder if you could do me a favour? I cannot replicate this my end at all and the server techs have ruled out an issue with Arbtalk. I'm thinking it's a chrome extension might be causing this. Any chance you could try disabling extensions one at a time and trying Arbtalk? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  3. What's with all this weekend working guys? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  6. Bergamo, Italy. The tree on the left has 2 ground anchors then the tree on the right is braced to that one. I guess they have different ideas on things over there. Literally every tree in the park was braced though, even some not particularly large yew trees Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  7. Haven't touched anything! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  8. Seems to be ok my end Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  9. I've seen a few in my time but never installed on a tree of this size. Seems utterly pointless to me but was kinda interesting to see. The tree itself had a cobweb of other bracing installed as did most of the trees in the park Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  10. Thanks for sharing Giorgio, looked a great event. I'll look forward to it this year! Do you have dates yet? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  14. The nissan comes with a diff lock option which I liked the idea of when I was in the market a few years ago
  15. I know the Isuzu has a really small cab, but they might do a wider version, not sure. Nice truck though. A friend had a canter and had nothing but trouble with it and they never could find the problem. Big fan of Nissans on the whole. No experience with the toyota but I believe they have a poxy little cab aswell
  16. Is cab space an issue?

  19. Well that should go without saying Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  20. Theres really no good reason to spike a tree thats being pruned. Even the majority of take downs could be done without spikes if they had to be, spikes just make it quicker and easier. But no, as said, its not ilegal
  21. I also had one. First thing I knew about it was when I blunt my saw 20ft. From there down it was entirely full of concrete, rubble, you name it. It wasn't a fun day. Fortunately I had good money on the job and didn't lose out too much. I remember I had really sore blisters on my thumb and palm of my hand from all the filing I had done.
