Any chipper is better than no chipper, and providing you handle it within its parameters they will work just fine. Nothing more ridiculous than watching someone trying to force something clearly too big into a chipper. See it time and time again with people even feeding 6" machines. Slow down, prepare the timber to chip, and you're have a far more relaxed and less frustrating days work

Agreed, towed a 190 many times and its not bad, a transit can handle it fine. The limiting factor really is the licensing issue with gross train weight etc etc

A combination of things really. Having it so late perhaps hasn't helped. Normally I run this over the christmas period when I have more free time. The prize list is smaller this year, I was unable to get hold of some of the regular sponsors for one reason or another. Last year we had some pretty cool prizes which really drawed a crowd, namely the brand new ms200t that Stihl managed to dig out

Cheers guys. Tommy, still waiting on the total. They sent me a total the other day which is way way down on previous years, which I kinda expected anyway...but im not convinced they haven't messed that up also.....I will post the total when i'm happy its correct.
