Just look at any tree surgery website that’s used stock images, you’ll see plenty of issues ? -
So, what does it do?

What size radiator
Steve Bullman replied to Steve Bullman's topic in Log burning stoves and fireplaces
excellent link, thanks -
I did start a topic a while ago but can't find it, so.... I was considering getting a fireplace in my new office but think I am now leaning towards an oil filled radiator. Really not sure what size I should get though. 2500kw means zilch to me. Its going to be a small room, approx 3.8m x 2.5m. 3rd of a wooden cladded garage. It will be insulated but utlimately is still going to be an outdoors office. I don't want to boil in there and am quite happy to be cold, just so long as I can feel my fingers to type. What power would you recommend? Looking at something like this Amazon.co.uk: oil fired radiators AMZN.TO Amazon.co.uk: oil fired radiators

Instead of paying vat? Doesn’t sound the worst deal in the world depending on the vat amount

Adding to its range of high-performance tools for professionals, STIHL has launched the new MS 400 C-M, the world’s first chainsaw with a magnesium piston. The MS 400 C-M chainsaw was been designed with professionals in mind, offering the highest maximum speed (14,000 rpm) in the 60cm3 -class. The new 66.8cc 2-MIX engine has more displacement, providing both more power and torque than the MS 362C-M, as well as rapid acceleration. As a world first, the MS 400 C-M features a new magnesium piston. This lightweight and durable piston weighs just 70g, which is 14% lighter than the aluminium piston in the MS 362 C-M, helping contribute to the machine’s excellent power to weight ratio and highest maximum revs in its class. Thanks to these new intelligent design features and materials used, the MS 400 C-M has an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 1.45 kilograms per kilowatt, making it ideal to use when working in the forest, especially over prolonged periods. In addition to the new 66.8cc engine, the MS 400 C-M features STIHL’s unique M-Tronic 3.0 technology including the new calibration process and an improved HD2 filter, which help deliver optimum performance at all times. The chainsaw also features ElastoStart technology that enables effortless starting of the power tool. Designed for forestry and arb professionals, the MS 400 C-M can be used for a range of applications, including felling, de-limbing and cutting to size. Starting from £900 ex VAT, the MS 400 C-M is available in 16”, 18” and 20” versions, the latter 20” version with an ES light guidebar. Feel for you. I went through this same dilemna recently as you probably know, and its never easy to break away. Some good advice so far though here
-
Full security passes for all staff with crb checks and Referance checks but had these in place from previous works luckily as would never have got these processed between knowing about this job and the date it had to be done by. I mean permission to take photos on site. Every military base I have ever been on has always had a strict policy, no photos
-
Nationwide and it’s an age old problem I’m afraid. It’s not going to change
-
You wouldn't believe the paperwork involved in this site being behind the wire on a military camp so planning permission was the least of our worries. And photo permissions? ?

Back by popular demand, Engcon will be hosting its second Big Dig Day of 2019 on the 18th and 19th October, this time in the South West of England at West Country Water Buffalo Farm near Yeovil, Somerset. The free event follows the success of Engcon’s first Big Dig Day, which took place in the Midlands earlier this year, where over 100 owner operators attended, getting hands-on experience with a full line up of Engcon’s market leading products. With the event commencing at 10am on both days, visitors to the latest Big Dig Day will have the opportunity to try out the complete range of Engcon products on a variety of excavators from a number of the leading brands on the market (from 1.5T mini-excavators right up to 22T machines). This means there will be a wide range of different control systems for experience, ensuring the Big Dig Day caters for every operator no matter what system they are used to. Engcon’s team of experts will be on-hand throughout to give technical advice, support and to answer any questions that operators have. Alongside Engcon’s product range, one of the star attractions of the event will be a GPS zone featuring different brands of 2D and 3D machine controls including Leica and iDig, working in conjunction with Engcon’s ePS (engcon Positioning System). Speedy Hire will also have a stand at the event to promote its products and services to visitors. Operators will also be able to experience the advanced safety benefits of Engcon’s Quick-Hitch Standard control (QSC) quick coupler locking system. Introduced now as standard, Engcon’s QSC is compatible with every make of excavator, tiltrotator and quick hitch on the market. It consists of a control panel with a switch to activate the excavator’s quick hitch and another to activate the tiltrotator’s quick hitch, with a simple yet practical slider between the top and bottom switches for ease of operation. Another main attraction will be a custom-designed JCB 4CX backhoe loader, which Engcon’s UK-based engineering team have transformed into the most advanced backhoe loader in the world, developed to meet the needs of Robin Webber of agricultural contractor I J Webber & Sons. The machine now features a host of high spec innovations, making it the most intuitive backhoe ever produced and the first of its kind globally. The jam-packed event will finish at 5pm on both days. Robert Hunt, Managing Director of Engcon UK, comments: “There’s no better way to show operators the value that a tiltrotator and working with Engcon can add to their business than through live demonstrations. It’s so important that operators have the opportunity to sit on a machine and test the products for themselves to see how much more productive and efficient they can be using tiltrotator technology. “Our first Big Dig Day earlier this year was a great success. Due to such high demand from our customers and the market, we have decided to hold another Big Dig Day in 2019, this time in the South West of England. “The fact that we’ll have up to 12 excavators from different manufacturers with varying control set ups is a massive attraction for operators. It means we have something for everyone. The event is more than just a chance to demo the machines though, it’s also a fantastic networking opportunity for visitors to speak to and pick the brains of other operators. “With a huge line up of machines all fitted with a host of Engcon products, we are looking forward to another fantastic event and expect to see an even bigger turnout than previously.” To explore the full range of products and services offered by Engcon, visit www.engcon.com or stay up to date with Engcon UK on Twitter: @engcon_uk and Facebook: www.facebook.com/engconUK
