    Guy I know who passed the other year had a coffin made up from wood he had milled himself over the years. He even tried it out for size before he passed away

    I agree a good climbers worth that, but getting it is another matter. The amount of firms that are happy to pay this are few and far between. Even getting £180 a day can be a push but is a more realistic target on the whole

    Yes its worth it. If you can walk the walk you will never be short of work. Money varies depending what part of the country you're in but a top climber should be able to get £170 -£180 a day.

    I think some of them probably do. I’ve tried to make the directory as clear to people as possible as to what it is they are going to he getting, there’s always be those that just don’t ‘get it’

    Tree works easier than scaffolding so i wouldn’t worry about the age part. Not sure what scaffolding pay is like compared to tree surgery though, something to consider
