  1. That’s not a bad deal i don’t reckon for 4 years worry free motoring. Is that £345 including the vat?
  2. Yep, Most are bought on pcp, an affordable way for literally anyone to buy a new car. When I was a youngster you never saw lads in new motors, now they all have them. I have done pcp's for the past 11 years. Current one will be paid off in a few months and I don't plan on changing this time.

    Manuh

    How small?
  4. Well yeah and no. It bares no resemblance to the iconic muscle car.
  5. Just had a letter from Halifax dropping my credit card limit by a whopping 6k. I have a good credit rating, so no real reason for this. Anyone else had similar out of the blue?
  6. I had a preorder on the electric mustang but cancelled it. Didn’t really need it so didn’t see the sense spending that kinda money at the moment. Plus I suspect there may well be some good deals around next year. Funny what you said about the Kia dealer. We went to look at one also and it was the dealer that put us off. I had done a fair amount of research before hand and seemed to know far more than them at their own motor
  7. I think the old staged reduction thing is 20 year old science now, things have moved on I believe. Not sure what the latest 'expert' opinion is. Personally the logic behind the tree throwing out more roots to make up for all the panic growth it will put on after a reduction makes perfect sense to me.
  8. Concerned about your bucket list mate. I fear you may be missing out on a few things
  9. I wouldn’t be calling and asking for it free either. Putting your name on the tip site directory and waiting to be called and offered it is one thing. Asking for it is a bit on the rude side.
  10. Yep it is and always was Arbsafe. I very much doubt insurance companies would accept it as proof of ownership though.
  11. Specs the spec. It could have been done with more care to the aesthetics, would it have changed anything regards the trees response to the pruning? Probably not
  12. Those new shoots are panic growth. the reason it’s better to remove it now is because the longer you leave it the more brittle it will become and the more likely to fail and yes, there’s no hope for the tree, sorry!
  13. Nope, could make that happen but people rarely name their files, specially from mobiles. I might go through and manually add some alt tags in the next round of seo
  14. Nope I left that out, didn’t feel it was that necessary?
  15. The tree would probably take it, set the sling right at the base. The issue is the height of the stump you’re trying to pull out. You’d typically want the stump to be 3-4 ft high so you’d get some leverage with the winch. its not impossible. I just think by the time you have excavated enough of the stump and axes through the roots you’d probably be already there anyway
  16. You have little to no chance of pulling that stump out. It would involve a massive amount of excavating and even then you have no height on the stump to get any sort of leverage. Can’t you get a stump grinder in?
  17. Marlow Ropes, the world-leading UK based rope manufacturer officially announces the introduction of their latest ‘technically better’ innovation; the BLUE OCEAN® RAPTOR, a first in the Tree Work and Arboriculture industry. The Blue Ocean® Raptor is a Lowering line made from Marlow’s trademarked Blue Ocean® yarn - manufactured using 100% recycled plastic bottles. The Blue Ocean® product range was created in-line with Marlow’s environmental and sustainability mission of reducing single-use plastics, whilst aiming to raise awareness of the detrimental effects it has on the oceans and the environment. Jon Mitchell, Marlow’s Managing Director, commented on the company’s progress. “It is clear that people are becoming more environmentally aware, and we are working to provide our customers with sustainable rope options in all of the industries we operate in. We hope by introducing these products it will encourage our customers to think more consciously before purchasing their ropes and inspire other manufacturers to act too.” Blue Ocean® Raptor is available at Marlow stockists now! For further information about Marlow’s BLUE OCEAN Range and their commitment to eco-conscious practices visit www.marlowropes.com
  18. Take a look at the special offer i'm running this month for sawmillers Tippin
  19. I don't own the kit, I just carry out the tests for the company.
  20. I'd pretty much made my assessment within the first couple of minutes of seeing the tree to be honest, didn't like it one bit. The Picus only backed that up in this case.
  21. Or I could be kevinjohnsonmbe all this time and am now trying to divert growing suspicion away from the fact
  22. Been having a play with the 3D feature on the Picus software, pretty cool. This large Beech tree had multiple Ganoderma brackets, the most concerning being in the first union. 3 separate measurements were taken for the model. And a view from the opposite side
