Hi calv......the easiest way would be to belay her. This would basically involve setting a rope up to a high point in the tree. This could be done from the ground through the use of a throwline. this is a small 2mm line with a throw weight attached. then you would need a belay device attached at the bottom of the tree...a harness for your daughter, you would basically be in 100% control. I would suggest the best thing you could do is contact your nearest indoor climbing wall and go on an induction...you will learn the basics of belaying or "top roping". then all you wll need to learn is the rope installation which you can be talked through right here!

convoy, 98 plate i think 98 onwards has transite enginge and gearbox, make sure before you buy! for 4000 you oughta be able to pick up something pretty decent. i paid 3400 for mine 2 years ago and it only had 50,000 on the clock.

i drive an ldv....depending what model you get they have the same running gear as a transit, so between those 2 i'd go ldv, you'll get a whole lot more for your money. definetly be worth looking at an isuzu or mitsubishi canter though, they seem reasonably cheap second hand

heres my advice nod, dont let it confuse you. just go through it bit by bit over the course of a week, then go back to it again and again. thats how i approached it, all of a sudden what seemed confusing was real easy. its just a case of familiarising yourself with it. -
i seem to remember a few years back timberwolf started to recommend the blades were sharpened with a concave surface rather than straight surface....if i also recall right didnt they change their mind on this? whats the current recommendation regarding that?

my accountant uses sage, as do most, and subsequently they like their clients to use sage, but when i took my quickbooks data to my accountant she said they were more than workable. its just figures to them at the end of the day -

maybe the german machines dont have the adjustable height tracks? i know the jensen i used to use didnt, the body itself tilted but not as good as adjustable track heights IMO

I just thought i'd start this thread for those starting out down the self employed route. I did my bookwork in a ledger book for the first year, and whilst it worked fine i found it wasnt so efficient and also i'd let it get a bit behind. I switched over to quickbooks 1 year in, and although it looked complicated at first glance, once i got into using it within a week i'd learnt my way round it. I now find i enter my expenses on an evening basis, no recording invoices as they record automatically as you write them out. Viewing your financial position is all done on a mouse click with access to detailed spread sheets instantly. why dont you start out as self employed, doing a day here and there for each company till you decide where you want to be? from a business perspective its always nice to have someone you can call on for a day here and there for that extra large job.
