  1. im going to apply too.....also booking a beginners clay pigeon shooting session. as i understand it being a member of a club will give me a better chance of having my license approved.
  2. ive been away and only just read this thread....al is probably right...i dont know how this stands with the copyright...i'd imagine not too good
  3. i've got the bug now...might move to the states
  4. you dont get pizzas like this at pizza hut!
  5. this year we spent christmas in the US with the wifes family. had a great time, the highlight was getting to shoot loads of big guns...from various pistols to high powered rifles, shotguns and a muzzleloader. heres a few pics
  6. someone had one fail....he got away with it though, im not 100% sure what happened, i believe he may have been tied in twice though.
  7. i know where theres a couple size small treeflex's probably going cheap if anyones interested one thing i'd say though, if anyone gets a treeflex from a questionable source such as ebay you should seriously consider binning the bridge straight away in case its one of the first run faulty ones
  8. sorry but i agree with MB its a good idea in theory, but for me personally im incredibly fussy who i work with, but do forge good working relationships with a select few over time. thats the way to go about it IMO. there are more people who i wouldnt work with than who i would, so as was mentioned earlier, who decided who can view the private forum. it can be discussed on the open forum and discussed through the private messages i would have thought
  9. never did i say someone was useless because they smoked dope....i said i wouldnt work with them, theres a big difference.
  10. Ha! thanks mate. I'm expecting it to be a little slow to be honest due to christmas which is why I decided to run it up till mid January....even so, i was really hoping tickets would be selling a bit better. thanks again though everyone who has bought already
  11. hey everyone, sorry but the results are going to be delayed for a while....its been a real hectic month, promise to have the results sorted by the 31stdec. thanks for your patience
  12. nah, they are still a good tool for certain situations
  13. ok...well you can always phone and donate if you prefer......i like the internet option myself as you get the email receipt immediately as proof of purchase.
  14. i've never heard that before lancs so i checked it out myself....once you put in your details it then takes you to a secure page where you enter your card details, as you said with https and the padlock.
  15. Please note anyone purchasing tickets between the dec20th-Jab1st, I will be away during this period. Please purchase your tickets in the same way as described above, however your tickets won't be sent to you until Jan2nd. This will be the very first thing i do when i return. Thanks for your participation.
  16. couple more prizes to add. a lucky alpha lightweight climbing helmet donated by Daniel at Chippertech, and a Pfanner stretch air jacket donated by arbtalk member Treebogan. Big thanks to both of you.
  17. i think you're right, and i think i considered that and decided that due to the cost id just make do with the one i had till the whole unit wore and replace it as a whole
  18. no i have one of the first models....i think the swivel would be handy though. only disadvantage i can see would be the price.
  19. the sound was exceptional....that clink when you threw the cambium saver round showed that off
  20. good work reg. im not sure if it needs a wider angle lens or not....it would probably help. i think maybe filming with the helmet cam will be a seperate art to master in itself....try not to look around so much...thats easier said than done though! i think at one point particular it looked like the camera could have been positioned pointing too low, not sure though are you happy with the quality of the original footage before you compressed it for google?
  21. i use it on a rope flipline and definetly recommend it. its the best grab on the market IMO, and the only one i'd consider using in place of a v.t
