  13. i think the real question is, is he trying to pull a fast one or is he just confused with the law himself
  14. should be mentioned that the klemheist isnt a particulary bad knot and if its jamming up then maybe your hitch cord/rope combo needs re-thinking
  15. cerne, i find it helps to concentrate on where you have to get to and just go. the more time you take about it, and the slower you do it, the more of an issue trying to balance becomes....flowing in 1 smooth motion is the best way, and a good hitch is key. of course practise has much to do with it too.

  18. id imagine by the time he's spent a day or however long it took him chunking off the smaller stuff, by the time he got to the bigger stuff he'd gained a bit of confidence in the wood.....maybe. im assuming he didnt have much of an alternative?
