  6. i drove past this tree today. I reduced/topped this Beech approx 8 years ago. ive been hunting round trying to find the picture i took at the time with no luck. Beech dont throw out shoots like other species, and although can be difficult to reduce do respond well providing you don't go too hard.

  14. please note the first post in this thread has been edited regarding overseas entries, please read if applicable
  15. i disagree lee....i dont travel too far afield but i can get far better rates 30 miles down the road, and not only that, the type of work you can sell can vary a lot too
  16. how can that be allowed? i assume he has done some sort of course to allow him to teach? even so, it should be someone experienced in that sort of position
  17. I'd like to ask, for the benefit of other students and ultimately colleges themselves, what areas do you think your courses have lacked in? what could be improved, removed, etc?

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
