Forest track

Just a few pics of a forest track we are doing atm. 9x3 timber edge milled on our mizer on site and creosoted ( yeah I know :) ) sub base and road planings. This one will be about a quarter of a mile when finished.

9x3 timbers bolted and perched onto 3x3 stakes, stakes and boards surrounded with shingle,pipes from the shingle bed to the ditch every 30mts, permeable topping and surface water not caught by the drainage ends up in the grips further down the lane.Works well:thumbup1:

What is an RPZ please Bob? I'm guessing at Reduced Pressure Zone - if so then what sort of cost is the matrix you have used to (presumably) spread the load of traffic?

As John say`s root protection zone. Its rather expensive by the time you fill them with stone but its rated for heavy plant and trucks. I will be in the office monday and see what it runs out at.
