This maybe a bit sad but it's worth a try,on visiting a previous client today to look at some more work i was shown this.We dismantled 13 large open growing norway spruce two and a half years ago,we didn't split it,the clients son did,which must have been a major task in itself(freshly cut softwood with an axe!)and stacked it afterwards in this fashion.Can anybody do any better?

I couldn't come close but it looks like that stack sheds half its rain against the house wall; not good.

 

On a more positive note - yes, it's a bit sad!

Not mine, but think it deserves a post!

 

This says two things to me.

 

1, someone has way too much time on there hands. :lol:

 

2, whoever done that will never let anyone else in the house put the fire on as it will mean taking the logs from the pile. :laugh1:

 

Good work and must be a good artist.

nice job, but as mentioned above, they are going to have some problems with damp on that wall
