Within hours of their arrival in our local park today, 'tree surgeons' are touting door to door. Chickens, dogs & kids running everywhere, music up high & generally ticking everyone off. Hope they clear off soon & take their mess with them.:001_rolleyes: Wouldn't normally post such trivia...but then Strictly is on.

Quite a few years ago travellers installed themselves on our local park. After about a week those living closest got fed up with the noise of the generators etc. They knocked the doors of as many residents as they could (including ours) & eventually amassed a crowd of about thirty. We spent the night keeping them awake as much as we could.Obviously the police were called but nothing was done. The following morning they left. They haven't returned since.

Just had exactly the same thing happen here. Cut down an 11000 voltage consumer box, tried running a security guard over, burning out cars, speeding, poaching, sh1tt1ng everywhere and fly tipping.

It only lasted 5 weeks 😠

Just to add a bit of balance.... we had 'em pitched in a car park near us and my son enjoyed playing with their young 'uns for a couple hours in the park.
