Looking at the government website the only legal requirement is a break of 20minutes if it's over a 6 hour day. It doesn't have to be paid for.

 

Not that that has much bearing on those of us who are self-employed.

Think I will continue as before. Normally knock an hour off for the day but in reality probably only stop for 40mins with a couple of short stops for food and drink morning and afternoon and 25 mins for lunch and even then I am changing chains and checking the machine over. Customers seem happy and I earn enough but it's been an interesting thread :001_smile:
