Is this reasonable:

TRAINING. CTS will pay for employee training. However if the employee leaves the employment within 2 years from the date of training they must repay a percentage of the training costs as follows. The costs shall be taken from the employees pay check:

75% within 6 months

50% from 6-12 months

25% from 12-24 months

thats dead fair i think, because if they take you on and agree to train you you could just do one on them and they would be out of pocket. if they are good enough to pay for training then you should be good enough to be a loyal employee imo :001_smile:

my work did that when they put me through my 7.5t licence. they also took some one to court who left after 2 weeks of passing his test. if there willing to pay for the training its only fair they get there investment back

I agree fully with this, However i do know a guy (friend of a friend) who signed an agreement like this but then left before the 2 years was up, His former employer took him to court saying hes signed an agreement and needs to pay up, The court threw it out and he didnt have to pay as they said that the certificates benefitted the employer aswell as the employee
