Ah yeah, thats probably where I got the idea. Feck, everything been invented already. I was thinking the target end user would be myself actually. Bit of a sissy, me.

seems to me that if you don't know how to use a chainsaw safely, then you shouldn't use one!

 

 

Well that's one way to view it, but in reality how many people use chainsaws that don't know how to use them safely? More tha one or two I'd imagine!

And thats why it sometimes takes so long to get up in the morning , or would you rather go fishing or be an egg ? :001_smile:

If you use safe working practices and the correct ppe that should reduce the risks to a minimum. Maybe get a chainsaw protective jacket if you are worried about slipping.

 

I think adding that to a chainsaw would make it too cumbersome and awkward to use.

 

If chainsaws ever come with that as standard I would have it straight off with the grinder
