The OX has been designed with rough, rutted, washboarded gravel roads in mind.

 

Like rural Devon then. :lol:

 

I noticed the OX in the news today as well and it appears to be the sort of thing I'm after. I don't want a complex new car, or an unreliable old one and I need good ground clearance but not necessarily a full 4x4. The load capacity would be ideal for moving wood about as well.

I doubt it will ever see the light of day over here due to emission regs, crash testing or SVA issues.

 

Commercial IVA is not that strict, no crash test for home build vehicles and it uses Transit FWD drivetrain so emissions should be no problem.
