That is very very nice, apart from the old rusty nail that split the timber in 2nd pic, but maybe that's nice too!

Is it sandblasting? Be good to know how it was done.

Doesn't look like the work of a router somehow, how would it leave the grain between the detail like that?

At a guess put a template over the top then sand blast the wood?

 

 

That sounds the most likely method to get that kind of finish.
