An old military base somewhere remote, easy to provide security.  The saving on residence exposes and (especially for Abbot, taxi fares) would be immense!

Had a similar conversation with Dr Mynors the night before the Barchams seminar he did a year or 2 back...  He wasn't buying it, but what could he possibly know about historic buildings....
