I thought it was generally agreed that the persecution of people on the basis of the colour of their skin, their sexual orientation, their belief system, their degree of disability and their failure to adhere to a fascist idiology was a thing of the past.

From what I've heard about the Barcelona attack the van driver panicked and tried to get away.
